Melanie has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Murdoch University and a Master of Psychology (Clinical and Health) from Curtin University and has been registered as a psychologist since 1993.

Melanie worked as a research psychologist for the TVW Telethon Institute for Child Health Research and gained clinical experience in a range of WA health department settings. She also worked as a Senior Professional Officer (psychologist) for the Department of Defence and as Principal Clinical Psychologist for the Commonwealth Medical Office. She has worked providing counselling and therapy for clients suffering acute and chronic pain, anxiety, depression and marital problems, as well as a range of other psychological issues, and has conducted numerous psychological and neuropsychological assessments. She has been working in private practice since 1999.

Melanie sees adults and adolescents. Her interests include anxiety and phobias, depression, work stress and work related problems, health-related problems including rehabilitation/injury management, stress management, and psychotherapy for adults abused as children. She uses targeted skills training, such as assertiveness or social skills training, to help clients develop the abilities they want to live more fulfilling lives and provides personal coaching for life and adjustment issues. She also provides legal reports for criminal and personal injury claims.

Melanie’s counselling approach to treatment is psychodynamic, interpersonal and cognitive. She is experienced in the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and clinical hypnotherapy. Melanie was a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) for ten years. She is a past Member of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, and is currently a member of the Australian College of Advanced Postgraduate Psychologists. She is recognized as a provider of specialist psychological services by Medicare Australia, is a board approved supervisor of provisional psychologists and registrars, and is committed to ethical, evidence based practice.

Michael’s counselling treatment plans are based on each person's unique history, personality and goals. He is well versed in a range of evidence-based and other treatments, including CBT and EMDR.

    Paul has been a psychologist for over 14 years and has worked in Fremantle, Royal Perth and Fiona Stanley Hospitals as well as at the Joondalup Mental Health Unit. Paul uses focused psychological strategies and sees adults and adolescents.
